Smashed her first collegiate home run against Sam Houston (2/16) ... Had one home run, two hits and two RBI throughout the Texas A&M Invitational ... Launched a home run against Utah (3/5) in Judi Garman Classic ... Launched a home run against Texas State (3/9) ... Was a four-year starter at Frisco Independence High School… Played third, short, and center, but was mainly behind the dish… Ranked #97 on FloSoftball’s Hot 100 and #17 as a catcher by Extra Inning Softball… Was a three-time Offensive Player of the Year for the Knights… A four-time First Team All-District recipient… A three-time All-Metroplex first team and All-Area First Team player and awarded All-State Honors… Named Freshman of the Year for District 13-5A in 2017, Named Catcher of the Year for District 13-5A in 2018, and Named MVP for District 13-5A in 2019… 2020 Senior season canceled due to COVID… Played travel ball for Team Mizuno Impulse (2012-19) and Texas Glory (2020)… Graduated cum laude and was a four-year member of NHS.
PERSONAL
Began playing softball at the age of six… Has had multiple relatives attend Texas A&M… Her father played baseball at Tyler Junior College and her stepmom played softball at Oklahoma State… Her favorite achievement in sports is hitting the go-ahead home run to win the district for the first time in school history during her junior year… Her most memorable moment in athletics is getting to play Team Korea, Scrapyard International, Triple Crown Colorado, Team Puerto Rico, Team New Zealand, Calahoo Erins, Canadian Juniors, and Team Great Britain in the 2019 Canada Cup International Softball Championship… Chose to pursue softball over volleyball because she had been playing it longer and loved softball more… Softball has helped mold me into the person I am today – it has taken me to amazing places, given me lifelong friendships, and taught me important life lessons that I’ll always remember.”... Chose A&M because “the culture is unlike any university I had ever visited. It’s one big family and it feels like a home away from home to me.”
