AT JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: pitched for two years under coach Kent Shelley… ranked sixth on the 2019 Perfect Game USA Top 300 Prospect List… touched the rubber in eight games in relief in 2019 as a sophomore… notches a 1-1 record with 15 strikeouts, a save, three earned runs and an ERA of 4.26 through 6.1 innings… recorded a save and two strikeouts while coming in to close out the ninth inning of the season opener against Brookhaven (2/7)… struck out the side in an inning of relief en route for victory over Rockurst JV (4/2)… appeared in 21 games with one start on the mound as a freshman in 2018… ended the season with a 1-0 record, a 6.86 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 21.0 innings… collected two saves to tie a team-high and held opponents to a .258 battings average… collected his first victory in 2.0 innings in a win over Ellsworth (2/18)… garnered three strikeouts in 2.2 innings while only allowing one hit and no runs at Cowley (3/3)… booked his first collegiate save while denying any hits or runs in the ninth inning at Independence (3/17)… composed another hitless inning in relief at MCC-Maple Woods (3/20)… worked through 3.0 scoreless innings, allowing two hits while tallying three strikeouts at Labette (3/22)… delivered his second save of the season against Labette (3/24).
AT LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL: two-year starter under coach Dan Beckman… set Lincoln High single season record for strikeouts with 45 and ERA with 1.34… batted .364 with 31 hits, seven doubles, 17 runs and 13 RBI… earned 2017 Class A All-Nebraska Honorable Mention, First Team All-Lincoln and first team All-Heartland Athletic Conference as a Senior.
Personal: Born Cameron Brooke Wynne on January 11th, 1999 to parents Brian and Jennifer Wynne in Kearney, NE… has two siblings, Cayden (17) and Sophia (11)… majoring in University Studies with an emphasis on Leadership Studies with the goal to be wildlife biologist… hobbies include hiking, fishing and fitness… favorite baseball player is Noah Syndergard “because he’s a monster in the weight room”… at six years old, Cam accidentally bit his tongue off, but it was sowed on and has grown back… also is a big fan of turtles.
