2020 (JUNIOR): Appeared in nine games for the Maroon and White, including one start...batted .200 (3-for-15) with eight runs, three HBP and three RBI... in the win over Stephen F. Austin (2/18), went 2-for-3 with three runs, two hit-by-pitches and three RBI.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 11 games for the Aggies… went 1-for-1 with one double and one run in the Aggies win against PVAMU (2/20)... played in 39 games for the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks of the Austrialian Baseball League... batted .254 with five doubles, one triple, 16 runs, 9 RBI and a team leading 31 base on balls...

2018 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action in his first year in Aggieland... played for the Acadiana Cane Cutters of the Texas Collegiate League... appeared in 45 games, batting .283 (41-for-145) with 26 runs, seven doubles, one triple and 18 RBI for the Cane Cutters... sported a .441 on-base percentage with the help of 22 walks and 19 HBP.

AT LOUIS D. BRANDEIS HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity starter... four-time all-district performer, including All-District 28-6A First Team from 2015-17... holds school record for games played, hits (106), doubles (20), RBI (56) and walks (64)... hit .342 as a senior with a .513 on-base percentage, 28 walks and 27 RBI... hit .400 as a junior, .333 as a sophomore and .339 as a freshman... squad advanced to second round of the state playoffs in both 2014 and ‘17... also made the playoffs in 2015 and ’16... was also a football standout at Brandeis, starting three years at quarterback... earned All-District 28-6A First Team and All-Greater San Antonio Second Team as a senior... holds school’s career records for completion percentage (.613), single-season passing yards (2,146) and total TDs in a game (6 – twice)... squad advanced to the fourth round of the state playoffs in 2015, second round in 2016 and first round in 2017... played summer baseball for the San Antonio Angels.

PERSONAL: Mason Samuel Corbett was born on January 18, 1999 in Bryan, Texas to parents Sherman and Julie Corbett... grew up in San Antonio... management major, wants to own a business or be in the administration of one and/or go to law school... father, Sherman Corbett, played at A&M, was drafted in the third round by the California Angels and played three years in the Major Leagues... father is currently assistant athletic director at UTSA where he served as head coach of the Roadrunners for 12 years... uncle, Raymond Corbett, signed with A&M but was drafted out of high school in the second round by the Reds... enjoys hanging out with friends and watching movies... participated in National Honor Society, Church Youth camp, and Discipleship Group... has been stung by a Man-O-War jellyfish.
