AT ROCKWALL-HEATH HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Greg Harvey, earning 12-5A Pitcher of the Year honors from 2013-2015 as well as Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 5A All-State First Team and Texas SportsWriters Association (TWSA) Class 5A All-State First Team in 2015 and TSWA Class 5A All-State Honorable Mention in 2014... logged a 10-1 record with a 0.27 ERA, 121 strikeouts and 11 walks in 69.0 innings his senior year... set the ERA record for Rockwall-Heath High School... Perfect Game All-American First Team... helped lead the Hawks to the state championship his freshman year, second round of playoffs his sophomore and senior year as well as the fourth round of playoffs his junior year... played summer baseball for the Houston Bandits.
