2021-22 (SENIOR)
Completed her final year in Aggieland with an 8-6 overall singles record to go along with a 4-0 finish in dual match play… Rallied from 3-5 down in the first set to win 7-5, 6-0 against Tarleton’s Celia Vaudiau in her first dual match of the year… Toppled Maria Lora of Texas State in dominant fashion, 6-0, 6-1… Came from behind against Jade Otway of TCU to win in three sets… Was a stalwart in the Aggie doubles lineup, building a 20-4 doubles record and winning alongside four different partners… Was 13-2 in dual match doubles, including 12 wins when paired with Gianna Pielet… Teamed up with Pielet to help secure the doubles point in A&M’s 4-3 win at Tennessee... Notched a 6-4 result with Pielet to give A&M an early 1-0 lead on No. 9 Auburn... Clinched the doubles point against Florida in the SEC Tournament Semifinals prior to the Aggies’ 4-3 victory.
2021-22 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Opened her senior season with a three-set win over Khim Iglupas of Arizona at the H-E-B Invitational… Posted a 4-6 singles record thru the conclusion of fall tournament action… Dominated in doubles play, going 7-3 overall including a 3-1 mark when paired with freshman Jeanette Mireles… Recorded at least one doubles victory alongside four different partners.
2020-21 (JUNIOR)
Had a career-best season in singles play, boasting a 17-5 overall singles record with a 14-4 clip in dual match action… Displayed a penchant for success in clutch situations, recording eight clinch victories throughout the season… Logged an impressive nine match win streak beginning in February against McNeese… Played the majority of her matches in the No. 5 singles slot, going 10-2 in those opportunities… Also added wins at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions… Went 8-1 during the SEC regular season, clinching seven of A&M’s conference victories… Saw action with five different doubles partners and produced a 14-7 ledger in doubles competition… Spent most of the season at No. 2 doubles alongside Dorthea Faa-Hviding, going 9-5 together.
2020-21 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Returned to the courts in January at the TCU Winter Invitational, finishing with a 3-1 singles record at the event… Defeated Sophie Gerits of Houston in a three-set thriller to open the season… Notched a 3-0 doubles record in the metroplex, winning one match apiece with Jessica Anzo, Riley McQuaid and Elise Robbins.
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE)
Earned a 9-4 record in overall singles play, posting a 5-1 record during dual match action in the spring… Ended the season with a five-match win streak… Posted at least one win in the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 positions… Went 9-8 in doubles matches, securing her first ranked win of the 2020 season alongside Jessica Anzo against No. 24 Silvia Chinellato and Emma Shelton of Florida.
2019-20 TOURNAMENT RESULTS: Went 4-3 in singles during tournament play, posting wins over athletes from Texas Tech, TCU, UTSA, and Texas… Finished 5-3 in tournament doubles, winning three straight matches at the SEC/Big 12 Challenge in Fort Worth… Went 3-0 when paired alongside junior Riley McQuaid.
2018-19 (FRESHMAN)
Posted a 14-15 mark in singles action with a 13-12 record in dual matches… Played the majority of her matches at the No. 4 line, finishing with an 11-10 record… Went 1-0 when playing at the No. 5 position while going 1-2 in the No. 3 slot… Was 6-6 in SEC matches, with all but one coming at the No. 4 position… Longest win streak of the season was seven matches… Recorded the clinch victory in five matches… Went 12-9 in doubles, including a 12-7 mark in dual matches when paired with Katya Townsend…

PERSONAL: Born in the winter of 1999 and raised in Wollongong, Australia, Renee McBryde is the eldest daughter of Terence and Daniela McBryde… She has one younger sister, Alina… Received her Aggie Ring in the fall of 2021… Expects to graduate from Texas A&M in May of 2022 with a degree in sport management, also minoring in communications and psychology… Selected to the Texas A&M and SEC Academic Honor Rolls from 2018-2021… Hopes to one day become a professional tennis player or work as a strength and conditioning coach… In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, yoga and working out.
