PREVIOUS ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE
The lefty was a four-year starting setter at Weatherford High School…Along with future Aggie teammate London Austin-Roark, helped lead the Kangaroos to back-to-back district co-championships her final two seasons…Tallied a school-record 1,521 assists as a senior and also added 162 kills, 262 digs, 52 blocks and 68 aces after having directed WHS to a 41-7 record and its first-ever appearance in the regional finals of the state playoffs…Received a plethora of local, state and national honors as a senior throughout the record-setting senior season, including 2017 PrepVolleyball.com High School All-American…Also was named to the website’s Class of 2018 Senior Aces (Nos. 101-150), a list of the top recruits in the nation…In addition, was a PrepVolleyball.com Andi Collins Award Finalist, given to the nation’s top setter…Earned All-America second-team honors by MaxPreps and was a 2017 VolleyballMag.com All-America honorable mention…Earned first-team all-state honors from both the Texas Girls Coaches Association and the Texas Association of Volleyball Coaches…Was an all-state second-team selection by the Texas Sports Writers Association…Was named the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Player of the Year and also was tabbed the FWST Female Athlete of the Year for all sports…Had earned district setter of the year honors as both a sophomore and junior, capped her career by being named MVP of District 3-6A as a senior…Also recognized for her academics, was named 2017 TGCA Academic All-State and was selected to the 2017 THSCA Academic All-State second team…Played seven years of travel ball for Club Texas Volleyball…Coached by Christy Stewart, was named to the USA Division all-tournament team after directing her CTV 16 Elite team to a fifth-place finish at the 2016 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship…Her CTV 17 Elite team qualified for the GJNC Open Division and was ranked second in the North Texas region.

Began playing volleyball when she was 10 years old… She and Aggie middle blocker London Austin-Roark have been teammates since they started playing the sport…Both graduated from Weatherford High School in December and enrolled at Texas A&M in January…Rogers’ only official recruiting visit was to Texas A&M…Chose to sign with the Aggies because of “the amazing traditions and the idea that we’re family”…Has a sister who is a senior at A&M…Most memorable moment in athletics is her senior year in high school when the Kangaroos advanced all the way to regionals, the furthest any volleyball team from Weatherford had ever gone in the state playoffs…Wears No. 7 because that was her number throughout her high school career…Hobbies include sleeping and hanging out with family and friends…Volunteered at The Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation in which Aggies assist residents within the community…Majoring in kinesiology/motor behavior…Career ambition is to be a coach.
