Forest Wimer enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the Texas A&M Men’s Basketball team.
Wimer is no stranger to the program as he spent four years as a student manager for Virginia Tech. For three years, he served under Coach Buzz Williams and made three trips to the NCAA Tournament including one appearance in the Sweet Sixteen. During his final season as a Hokie, Wimer was a student manager under Coach Mike Young.
In his current role with the Aggies, he assists in all aspects of the program, including equipment, logistics and basketball operations.
Wimer graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2020 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Recreation and Youth Development.
