2016 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 18 contests, starting one … Hit .250 with one home run and four RBI … Made 13 appearances in the circle, compiling a 0-1 record with a 5.25 ERA … Threw 4.2 innings with two strikeouts in her start against Georgia Southern … Fanned a career-high three batters at Tennessee.
2015 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 23 games, making two starts … Logged a batting average of .231, an on base percentage of .408 and a slugging percentage of .385 with 13 at-bats … In six appearances in the circle, Ober recorded an 0-1 record with four strikeouts.
Previous Athletic Background
Ober was a four-year varsity letterman at Cinco Ranch High School, where she was named a team captain. The right-handed pitcher was a two-time First Team All-State selection and a three-time First Team All-District honoree, while earning the title of District 19-5A MVP. Ober was also selected First Team All-Greater Houston, and was honored by CRHS with the 2013 Team Leadership Award. She was named Team MVP in 2012 and 2013. Ober’s undefeated CRHS team was the district champion in 2013 and became a 5A Region III Semi-Finalist. In 2012, the team was the district runner-up, and in 2011 CRHS went to state playoffs. Ober played summer ball with the Texas Aces, claiming third at the Colorado Fireworks Gold in 2013.
