Jordan Jacobson joined the Texas A&M athletics department in August of 2020 and was hired on full time in the summer of 2021, currently serving as the athletic trainer for the softball program. He previously worked with the men's and women's swimming and diving programs as an athletic training intern for the 2020-21 season.
In his position, Jacobson is responsible for the prevention, care and treatment of injuries to athletes using necessary knowledge of injury patterns and modern principle of athletic training. He attends all softball practices, workouts and games.
A native of San Diego, California, Jacobson started his athletic training education at Alabama, where he received a bachelor's degree in athletic training in May of 2018. He continued his education at Toledo, graduating with his master's degree in exercise science, with a concentration in athletic training, in May of 2020. During that time, he worked primarily with the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
