Victor’s score of 8,446 ranks fourth on the all-time collegiate list and it’s the top score by an international collegian. He threatened the collegiate record of 8,465 that was set in 2006 at the Texas Relays by Trey Hardee of Texas.
Won the NCAA Championship in decathlon with a score of 8,379 points, becoming the first Aggie to win the NCAA decathlon title. The NCAA field included five scorers over 8,000 points and the deep field generated the best score for place in second through 10th place.
In winning the SEC title with a meet record performance, Victor defeated three-time defending champion Maicel Uibo of Georgia, who scored 8,315 points as runner-up. Victor bettered the previous SEC meet record of 8,326 set by Uibo in 2015.
