A vital component to the team’s behind-the-scene functions, Williams has a wide array of duties, including coordinating team travel, assisting with the scheduling and contracting of matches and facilities, and organizing and administrating on-campus recruiting visits. In addition, she oversees game management duties and handles the team’s equipment inventory and film exchange and also serves as director at Texas A&M’s summer volleyball camps.
Born and raised in College Station, Williams grew up watching the Aggies play volleyball at G. Rollie White Coliseum. She went on to play volleyball at A&M Consolidated High School, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2009. She also played seven years of club volleyball, including stints with Brazos Valley Juniors and Tigerland Juniors.
After the marketing major received her bachelor of business administration degree from Texas A&M in May 2013, Williams interned at Red Frog Events, planning and traveling to various locations throughout the United States to execute the company’s lead brand, Warrior Dash, the world’s largest obstacle running series. She also helped run many of the organization’s other signature events, including Great Urban Race and Firefly Music Festival.
During her spare time, Williams enjoys participating in a variety of outdoor activities, including kickball, wakeboarding, slalom skiing, kneeboarding, bridge climbing and tubing, as well as spelunking and skydiving. She is teaching herself how to play the guitar, and she is an official Guinness World Record holder, having participated in the world’s largest online Secret Santa game in 2011. Recently, Williams has found her passion for creating beautiful pieces of sand art that she has proudly displayed in her office.
