Rebecca Himes took over as Athletic Trainer for the A&M volleyball program in March of 2019.
Himes, a native of Ijamsville, Maryland, is a graduate of Salisbury University, where she earned a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2015.
Himes began her career as an Intern Athletic Trainer with Rice University’s Baseball team in 2015. She then went on to complete the Sports Medicine Residency with Houston Methodist, in Houston, Texas, from 2015-2016. During her time in the Sports Medicine Residency, she provided outreach services to Tomball High School.
This is Himes' second tenure in A&M athletics. She earned her M.S. from A&M in 2018 and served as athletic trainer for Aggie tennis before moving to Virginia to work for the James Madison University volleyball program.
