David Bowen

David Bowen joined Jimbo Fisher's football program in the Spring of 2022 and serves as the Aggies' Director of College Scouting, where he helps maintain and facilitate the recruiting board along with identifying and evaluating players from across the country as potential prospects in both high school and the transfer portal.
Bowen has extensive experience in the football recruiting space, spending the last decade building top-10 classes in the Power 5 and the Southeastern Conference. Most recently, he was part of LSU's staff for three seasons--assisting in the assembly of three top-10 and two top-5 signing classes. Bowen also was part of the Tigers' national championship team in 2019.
His career began at Louisville, spending one season as an intern with the Cardinals where he helped with a recruiting class that signed First-Round NFL draft picks Lamar Jackson and Jaire Alexander. Bowen then worked three years at Georgia, where he assisted in building three top-10 signing classes--two of which were ranked in the top three in the nation.
Bowen then spent one year each at Mississippi State and Florida, helping assemble two highly-ranked signing classes, before making the move to LSU. The Gators' class was also ranked in the top 10 nationally.
A native of Baton Rouge, Bowen is a 2012 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. He and his wife, Liz, reside in Bryan-College Station.
