Maurice Baker's perfect 4-for-4 performance on the free-throw line in the final two minutes gave Oklahoma State an 82-76 victory over Texas A&M Wednesday night. Baker finished the night with 19 points.
The Cowboys (16-7, 7-5 Big 12) claimed their first road victory since Jan. 17 while shooting 59 percent from the floor despite committing 22 turnovers.
Fredrik Jonzen scored 13 points and had nine rebounds and seven assists for the Cowboys. Antoine Broxsie scored 15 points and Victor Williams added 12.
Texas A&M (9-17, 2-11) capitalized on 13 Cowboy turnovers in the first half to lead by as much as 11. Oklahoma State closed the opening period with a 5-0 run and opened the second with a 16-0 run to take a 52-42 lead.
The Aggies answered with a 12-0 run highlighted by more OSU turnovers. Bernard King scored seven points and had a pair of assists. He finished with a game-high 25 points and eight assists.
The Aggies could not overcome a seven-point deficit in the final two minutes as the Cowboys put the ball in the hands of their best free-throw shooter. Baker averages 81 percent from the line.
Nick Anderson scored 12 points and Carlton Brown scored 11 for Texas A&M.
