Bernard King scored 18 points to lead Texas A&M to a 62-52 victory over Texas Tech Saturday night.
A&M's Brian Brookhart sealed the game with a layup and a pair of free throws in the final minute, his only points of the game. Brookhart, who came off the bench after Nick Anderson fouled out, had only scored 12 points the entire season.
A&M (10-17, 3-11 Big 12) completed its first sweep of the season, defeating the Red Raiders (9-15, 3-10) for the second time this month.
King added a game-high seven assists in addition to six rebounds but committed seven of the Aggies' 16 turnovers. Jamaal Gilchrist scored 11 points and Carlton Brown added 10 for the Aggies. Keith Bean had 10 rebounds.
The Red Raiders, shooting just 32 percent from the floor, were led by Andy Ellis with 14 points and Cliff Owens with 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Aggies never trailed after taking a 7-6 lead with 16:52 in the first half.
