No. 9 Aggies Run Win Streak to Eight with 15-4 Win over Sam Houston State

Austin Boggs collected five of No. 9 Texas A&M's season-high 19 hits to lead the Aggies past Sam Houston, 15-4, in front of 4,556 fans at Olsen Field.
Boggs finished the game with five singles in six trips to the plate and four RBI.
With the win the Aggies improved to 20-2 while the Bearkats dropped to 4-13-1.
The Aggies open Big 12 Conference play this weekend with a three-game split series against Baylor. Friday's game will be at Olsen Field at 7 p.m., while games two and three will shift to the Baylor Ballpark in Waco.
The Bearkats took the initial lead in the top of the third off A&M starter Doug Frame. Aaron Ruchti started the inning with a double and later scored on a two-out single by Ryan Trevino.
The Aggies seized the lead in the bottom of the inning with three runs charged to Sam Houston starter Dustin Craig. Erik Schindewolf and Cliff Pennington each singled and Coby Mavroulis double scored a run. Pennington scored on the right fielder's throw to second. Boggs drove in the third run of the inning with a single to left.
Boggs drove in two more runs in the bottom of the fourth with a two-out single to cap off a three-run frame and make the score 6-1.
Karl Krailo hit a three-run homer in the top of the fifth off Aggie reliever Kyle Nicholson to cut the A&M lead to two runs.
Frame threw four-complete innings, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out seven hitters and walked three hitters.
Sam Houston made two errors that led to three unearned runs in the bottom of the fifth for A&M. Pennington plated a run with a sacrifice fly and Mavroulis drove in another with a single.
The Aggies added six runs on six hits in the sixth to put the game out of reach.
