
Law Named First-Team All-America by The Sporting News, USBWA

Texas A&M senior Acie Law IV has been named as a first-team All-American by the United States Basketball Writers Association and The Sporting News.
Last week, Law was named first-team All-America by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), ESPN.com and SI.com.
Law is averaging 17.9 points and 5.3 assists this season, leading the Aggies to a 25-6 record and a top-10 national ranking. No. 3-seeded A&M begins NCAA Tournament play on Thursday against Penn in Lexington, Ky.
The Sporting News, NABC and USBWA teams are three of the four teams used by the NCAA to determine consensus All-America status. The other is by the Associated Press, will be announced later this month.
