COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 21 Texas A&M softball team opens the home portion of its schedule this weekend playing host to the 2010 Aggie Classic. A&M (5-1) welcomes ULM (3-1), Mississippi State (4-0) and Oregon State (2-3) to the Aggie Softball Complex.
The Aggies play their first home game against Mississippi State at 3 p.m. Friday and immediately follow with Oregon State. They play a pair of games Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. and A&M's final game of the tournament is Sunday at 12:15 against the Warhawks.
Texas A&M is 6-4 against its competition this weekend.

PARKING
Parking for softball games is free and is available in the Reed Arena parking lots. Exceptions include days when there is conflict with home baseball games. This weekend parking lots will begin charging $5 at 1 p.m. Friday, noon on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
PROMOTIONS
Gear Up Weekend officially starts this Friday. Fans can gain admission for just $3 per Aggie athletic event when they buy tickets to two-or-more of the 12 events scheduled over the weekend. This includes: Texas A&M softball, women's basketball vs. Texas and Baylor, men's tennis and baseball. The Aggie softball team will also be hosting an autograph session after Sunday's game.

LAST TIME OUT
Texas A&M battled to a 2-1 victory against Sam Houston State on Wednesday evening in Hunstville, Texas. Two runs in the fifth inning made the difference, the first being sophomore Macie Morrow. Sophomore Macie Morrow followed closely posting a .500 batting average. Morrow recorded eight hits, scored six runs and added a triple and three RBIs from the lead-off spot. Junior Rhi Kliesing led the pitching staff with a 3-0 record, a career-high, 14-strikeout performance, and 33 K's in 18 innings pitched.
SISK INJURED
Junior transfer Lindsey Sisk injured the tendon to her middle finger on her non-throwing hand and will be out for 4-6 weeks.
BIG 12 PRESEASON POLL
A&M was picked to finish sixth in the Big 12 Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Aggies received 44 points and finished behind preseason favorite Oklahoma (79), Missouri (75), Baylor (61), Nebraska (49), and Texas (48). A&M was selected as the frontrunner for three consecutive years, from 2006-08, and was picked third last season. Oklahoma State placed seventh with 41 points, followed by Iowa State (23), Kansas (17) and Texas Tech (14).
AGGIE SOFTBALL ON TV
The Aggies are one of just four Big 12 schools to have a regular season game televised on ESPN this season. A&M's contest against Missouri on April 25 will air on ESPN. In addition, the Big 12 Tournament title game will be broadcast on FSN.
