COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Cole Green tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout to lead third-ranked Texas to a 14-0 win over Texas A&M Saturday evening before 8,123 fans at Olsen Field, the fifth-largest crowd in stadium history.

Green (8-0) walked three and fanned four, using 120 pitches to record his fourth complete game of the season. Texas won its school-record 10th straight Big 12 game and improved to 29-7 and 12-2 in league action. The Aggies fell to 20-13-1 and 6-7-1 in dropping their fifth in a row.

"Cole Green was outstanding, and that was the story of the day," A&M coach Rob Childress said. "Our opportunities were going to be few and far between with him, and there weren't many at that. Texas has a good lineup, and they found a way to score runs early. I am disappointed for our team and program with what we showed today."

The UT bats totaled 18 hits on the night, with four players--Cohl Walla, Tant Shepherd, Cameron Rupp and Kevin Keyes--recording three hits apiece. Keyes blasted a pair of homers to left, a solo shot in the sixth and a three-run homer in the eighth, and finished the day with four RBIs. Shepherd also drove in four.

Matt Juengel got the A&M hit, a single to right in the third, to extend his hit streak to a career-best 11 games.

Michael Wacha (3-2) suffered the loss, issuing 11 hits and six runs over 5 1/3 innings of work. He walked one and struck out seven.

The series concludes on Sunday with first pitch set for 1:05 p.m. The game will be televised nationally by FOX College Sports and will air on DirecTV Channel 617. General admission tickets are still available online at aggieathletics.com or on game day at the Olsen Field ticket office.
