Efferding and Szabo Fall at ITA All-American Semifinals

COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M men's tennis' 37th-ranked duo of Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo saw their run end Sunday afternoon at the 2014 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa . The Aggies fell in the semifinals of the first men's national title of the fall season hosted by the ITA and the University of Tulsa.
Efferding and Szabo were beaten by No. 19 Yannick Hanfmann and Roberto Quiroz of Southern Cal in straight sets. The A&M duo registered three wins in the prestigious doubles tournament, all three over ranked teams.
The Trojan pair advanced to face the No. 1 doubles team from Tennessee, Mikelis Libetis and Hunter Reese, in the championship match.
For the 10th straight year, the University of Tulsa hosted the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships at the state-of-the-art Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
