Three Standout Golfers Sign with Aggie Men?s Golf
Nov 12, 2014 | Men's Golf
COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M men's golf head coach J.T. Higgins announced Wednesday the signing of a trio of talented golfers who will join the program in the fall of 2015.
The impressive class is comprised of three native Texans – Max Miller (College Station, Texas), Chandler Phillips (Huntsville, Texas) and Brandon Smith (Frisco, Texas).
“I am really excited about this class,” Higgins said. “They have been committed to us for over a year so it is nice to finally make it official. All three of these young men can challenge for playing time right away and they will provide a great foundation for the future. They give us some offense, taking advantage of scoring opportunities and attacking the golf course. This class will give us the chance to post some really low rounds and we are hoping that leads to tournament wins and championships.”
