Aggies Head to Harlingen for ITF Futures

Rinderknech Falls at Oracle ITA Masters
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Six Texas A&M men's tennis players are set to feature at the ITF Futures Tournament in Harlingen, Texas Saturday at the HEB Tennis Center at Pendleton Park.
In the matches slated for 10 a.m., AJ Catanzariti will face Kalman Boyd and Frankie Colunga will take on Michael Riechmann, while Jordi Arconada and Hady Habib are slated to face off at 11 a.m. At 12:30 p.m. Kevin Lam is set to play Abhijeet Joshi and sophomore Aleksandre Bakshi will await either Julian Cash or Cagatay Sami Soke in the second round.
Junior Arthur Rinderknech was eliminated from both the singles and mixed doubles draw at the 2016 Oracle ITA Masters, Friday at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, California.
No. 9 Rinderknech was tripped up by No. 109 Adam Moundir of Old Dominion in the singles bracket. The Paris, France native, claimed the first set 6-3, but dropped the second and third sets; 6-3, 6-4; respectively to see his solo participation in Malibu come to a conclusion.
In the mixed doubles draw, Rinderknech is playing alongside Jasmine Lee of Mississippi State. The SEC pair are the top-seed and advanced to the semifinals with a 6-1 victory over Luisa Stefani and Guilherme Hadlich of host-Pepperdine. In the evening session, Rinderknech and Lee fell 6-1 to Hayley Carter of UNC and Christopher Eubanks.
