COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies celebrate Senior Night on Thursday as the Maroon and White host the Kentucky Wildcats in a 6:30 p.m. match at Ellis Field.
The Aggies are looking to get back in the win column and earn a spot in the SEC Tournament. Texas A&M is 7-7-1 overall and 10th in the SEC with a 2-5-1 league ledger. The Maroon and White are one point ahead of LSU (2-6-0) for the final spot in the conference tournament with three match dates remaining.
Kentucky needs a late surge to get into the tournament, standing at 4-7-4 overall and 0-5-3 in SEC play.
Despite the recent struggles, the Aggies' defense is still among the top in the league. Texas A&M ranks second in the league in goals-against average (0.92) and fifth in shutouts (five). Senior goalkeeper DANIELLE RICE ranks third in the SEC in shutouts (five) and goals-against average (0.92).
Thursday's match will be available digitally on mobile devices and connect-TVs for SEC Network subscribers whose cable/satellite packages allow access to SEC Network+ through the WatchESPN app and SECSports.com. Fans can listen to both matches locally on 1550 AM or worldwide on 12thMan.com/Listen.
