COLLEGE STATION – The Aggie men's basketball team returns home for their final home non-conference matchup of 2016 when it hosts the Saint Francis Red Flash on Wednesday at 7 p.m. inside Reed Arena.
Wednesday's game will be part of the always popular Holiday Hoops promotion which features adult general admission tickets for $5 and youth tickets at $3.
The non-conference affair will be available digitally on mobile devices, tablets, PCs and connect-TVs for SEC Network subscribers whose cable/satellite packages allow access to SEC Network+ content through the WatchESPN app and SECSports.com. Additionally, radio coverage on the Aggie Sports Network can be heard locally in the Bryan/College Station area on WTAW 1620 AM.
Texas A&M (7-3) is coming off a 67-63 loss in Houston to No. 19 Arizona during which the Aggies trailed by as many as 22 before roaring back to within one score in the final 30 seconds of the contest. The Aggies' own a 5-1 record inside Reed Arena this season, including an active three-game home winning streak.
Sophomore Tyler Davis leads the Aggies into action in the midst of one of the hottest streaks of his career. The center has posted a trio of 20-point games in his last four times on the floor including his fifth career double-double (23 points, 10 rebounds) against the Wildcats.
Rookie Robert Williams has made a quick impact in Aggieland since beginning his freshman campaign. The Vivian, La, native is averaging 11.0 points per game and has registered 24 blocks as a reserve, tied for the second most blocks off the bench in the nation. Second-year guard Admon Gilder, meanwhile, tops the Aggies in steals and assists during his sophomore season.
The Red Flash travel to College Station after dropping a 65-78 contest against Marquette in Milwaukee on Monday evening. The team is trying to buck a five-game losing skid after their last win came on the road against American 69-62 on Nov. 26.
Newcomer guard Keith Braxton highlights the Saint Francis roster by nearly averaging a double-double with 10.3 points per game and 9.1 rebound per game, the second highest total in the nation for a freshman. Head Coach Rob
Krimmel is in his fifth season at the helm of the Red Flash compiling a 47-85 record. Notably, Krimmel has spent his whole career in Loretto, Pa, playing or coaching at Saint Francis since 1996.

• In their final non-conference game prior to SEC play, the Aggies host Saint Francis (PA) Wednesday night inside Reed Arena.• The Aggies are 5-1 in non-conference games at Reed Arena this season and 141-14 (.910) all-time in non-conference games inside the facility.
• Sophomore Tyler Davis has been playing some of the best basketball of his collegiate career, averaging 18.8 points per game while shooting 67.5 percent from the floor during his last four contests ... The center has reached the 20-point plateau three times during the four-game stretch.
NOTING SAINT FRANCIS
• Saint Francis is a Catholic liberal arts university in Loretto, Penn., that is home to 1,745 undergraduate students ... A member of the Northeast Conference (NEC), the Red Flash have the distinction of sharing the NEC with another Saint Francis, St. Francis College of Brooklyn.• The team is led by one of its own in fifth-year head coach Rob Krimmel, who received his bachelor's degree in secondary education and history with a pre-law concentration from Saint Francis in 2000 before earning his master's of education-leadership from SFU in 2003.
• Sophomore guard Jamaal King paces the team in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor and 37 percent from 3-point range ... classmate Isaiah Blackmon leads the team by shooting 47.1 percent from beyond the 3-point arc … newcomer Keith Braxton is nearly averaging a double-double with 10.3 points per game and 9.1 rebound per game, the second highest total in the nation for a freshman.
• As a team, SFU ranks 16th nationally in 3-point shooting at 41.0 percent.
• The Red Flash are coming off a 13-17 campaign in 2015-16 that saw the team finish in a tie for sixth in the NEC standings with a 9-9 league mark.
• Earlier this fall, SFU was predicted to finish ninth in the NEC during a preseason poll of the league's coaches.
SERIES HISTORY VS SAINT FRANCIS (FRIST MEETING)
• This is the first time both Texas A&M and Billy Kennedy have faced Saint Francis.• Texas A&M is 3-2 historically against current members of the Northeast Conference. The last meeting was in 2010 when the Aggies defeated Wagner 86-51 in College Station.
