COLLEGE STATION – For just the second time during the month of February, the No. 24 Texas A&M men's basketball team will take to the hardwood at Reed Arena as Tuesday the Aggies host Ole Miss in an 8 p.m. SEC matchup.
Tuesday's game will be nationally televised on ESPNU with Rich Hollenberg calling the play-by-play and Dino Gaudio providing color commentary. Additionally, radio coverage will be provided on the Aggie Sports Network, which can be heard locally in the Bryan/College Station area on WTAW (1620 AM).
This season, the Aggies have put together one of the country's best ledgers on their home court, owning a 13-1 mark inside Reed Arena where they average 81.4 points per game while limiting their opponents to just 63.3 points per contest.
Senior Jalen Jones highlights the A&M lineup as the Dallas native maintains an impressive 19.6 point-per-game average at Reed Arena this year.
A pair of Jones' fellow seniors enter Tuesday's contest on the verge of career milestones as Alex Caruso needs just four points to become the 35th member of Texas A&M's 1,000-Point Club while Danuel House, who has split time between the University of Houston and Texas A&M, stands just two points from reaching 1,500 for his collegiate career.
Ole Miss (16-9; 6-6 SEC) comes to Aggieland following a 76-60 win over Arkansas on Saturday in Oxford, Miss. Leading the Rebels individually is senior guard Stefan Moody, who paces the SEC and ranks eighth nationally in scoring at 23.0 points per game this season.

• Texas A&M will attempt to return to its winning ways Tuesday night at Reed Arena where the Aggies are 13-1 this season ... Four of the Aggies' last five SEC games have come away from College Station.• The A&M-Ole Miss series has been dominated by the home team, with the Aggies winning both meetings in College Station and Ole Miss taking a pair of games in Oxford ... The Aggies own a 3-2 edge in the series thanks to a neutral site win over the Rebels on Dec. 30, 1972, in Oklahoma City during the All-College Classic.
• Senior Alex Caruso enters the week on the precipice of a milestone, needing just four points to become the 35th member of Texas A&M's 1,000-Point Club ... The College Station native is already the program's all-time steals leader and ranks second on the A&M assist list with 589 career dimes, just 13 behind leader David Edwards (1991-94).
• Additionally, senior Danuel House is also closing in on a milestone number for scoring as he needs just two points to reach 1,500 career points combining his time at both the University of Houston & Texas A&M.
SERIES HISTORY VS. OLE MISS (TEXAS A&M LEADS 3-2)
• Tuesday will be just the sixth meeting between the Aggies and Rebels on the hardwood ... A&M owns a 3-2 lead in the all-time series between the schools.• Last season, Texas A&M fell to the Rebels, 69-59, in Oxford, snapping a six-game Aggie winning streak ... Alex Caruso and Tavario Miller led the Aggies with 13 points while Kourtney Roberson added 12.
• During the Aggies first season in the SEC in 2013, the two schools split a pair of meetings with each team winning on its home court ... On Feb. 13, the Aggies earned a 69-67 victory over the Rebels at Reed Arena ... A&M was led by a 37-point performance by Elston Turner ... Later in the year on Feb. 27, the Rebels evened the score with a 82-73 win in Oxford.
• The first meeting between the schools came on Dec. 30, 1972, in Oklahoma City during the All-College Classic ... The Aggies prevailed with a 100-83 victory.

The College Station native currently has 589 during his A&M career to rank second in school history behind only David Edwards (1991-94) who owns first place with 602 career assists.
