No. 21 Women's Golf Heads To Augusta For 3M Augusta Invitational

AUGUSTA, Ga.- No. 21 Texas A&M women's golf heads to the 3M Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Course, where the Aggies take on the par 72 / 6,214 yard course for a three-day, 54 hole tournament with a 16-team field from March 11-14.
A&M is making its first appearance in this tournament, hosted by Augusta University, a Division I member in only men's and women's golf. Six of the past seven individual champions of this event have gone on to play professional golf.
The Aggies are coming off of a 5th place finish in the Florida State Match-Up, the Aggies 15th Top 5 finish in their last 17 outings, where Maddie Szeryk picked up her first career win, and SEC Golfer of the Week honors.
Szeryk is joined in lineup for this event by Callie Scheffler, Emily Campbell, Andrea Jonama and Thanya Pattamakijsakul. Bianca Fabrizio, who has competed in 17 straight tournaments for the Aggies, will miss this event as she prepares to play for the Patsy Hankins Trophy in Portugal, representing her native Italy. A&M tees off on Hole No. 1, starting at 9:25 a.m. CT on Friday.
