No. 22 Women's Golf Heads To Clemson Invitational April 1-3

SUNSET, S.C.- The No. 22 Texas A&M women's golf team heads to the Clemson Invitational on April 1-3, looking to pick up their second straight tournament victory.
The Aggies are one of 14 teams to take to the par 72 / 6,253 course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. The field includes seven Top 50 teams, and three top 25 teams—the Aggies and SEC rivals No. 8 Florida and No. 19 Tennessee.
The 54-hole tournament marks the first time Clemson has hosted a women's golf tournament, which takes place about 30 miles north of campus on the Jack Nicklaus-designed course.
The Aggies shared the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational championship on March 22-23, shooting a 4-under 860 to tie with Oklahoma State. Thanya Pattamakijsakul, shot a career-best 8-under 208, which earned her SEC Golfer of the Week honors.
Pattamakijsakul is joined in the lineup by Bianca Fabrizio, Maddie Szeryk, Andrea Jonama and Callie Scheffler, with Chloe Velasco teeing it up as an individual. The Aggies tee off on Friday starting at 10:45 a.m. off of hole no. 1.
The Aggies rank 19th in the nation, and rank fourth in subpar strokes per round (combined birdies and eagles per round, with eagles counting double). Three Aggies, Szeryk (25th), Pattamakijsakul (43rd) and Fabrizio (96th) rank in the nation's top 100 in stroke average, and all three rank in the Top 25 in the SEC.
