No. 22 Women's Golf Finishes Seventh At Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, S.C.- The No. 22 Texas A&M women's golf team finished seventh at the Clemson Invitational, shooting an 884 (+20) for the 54-hole tournament. Thanya Pattamakijsakul and Maddie Szeryk co-led A&M with a score of 220 (+4), tying for 18th.
The Aggies finished the tournament with an 8-over 296 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Sunday. No. 8 Florida won the tournament with a 3-under 861. Katie Sharp of Michigan State won medalist honors with an 8-under 208.
Szeryk and Pattamakijsakul closed out the tournament, each finishing with a 220 in a tie for 18th place. Szeryk capped her weekend at the par 72 / 6,253 yard course with a 1-over 73, while Pattamakijsakul shot a 3-over 75 to finish the tournament.
Bianca Fabrizio had the best A&M round of the day on Sunday, shooting a 1-under 71 with six birdies. Fabrizio finished the tournament tied for 26th with a 222 (+6).
Andrea Jonama finished in a tie for 45th at 227 (+11) with a final-round 81 (+9). Callie Scheffler shot a 5-over 77 to finish the tournament tied for 60th at 231 (+15). Competing as an individual, Chloe Velasco shot a 77 (+5) on Sunday to finish with a 230 (+14) and tie for 57th.
The Aggies return to the course April 15-17 for the SEC Championship at Hoover, Ala. A&M is the defending champion of the event.
