GAME PREVIEW - SEC Tournament Championship

HOOVER, Alabama – For the second time in nine days, the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies take the field with a chance of earning their first Southeastern Conference crown. Just over one week after falling to the Ole Miss Rebels, 3-2, with an opportunity to win the regular-season title, the Maroon and White face the No. 1 Florida Gators with the SEC Tournament championship on the line.
Texas A&M continues its meatgrinder of a schedule, playing an opponent ranked in the Top 10 for the 14th time in the last 15 games. The Maroon and White are 9-4 against those Top 10 squads during the stretch.
The Maroon and White's offense has been hitting on all cylinders the last two games. After not scoring more than six runs in any of their first 10 SEC Tournament games, the Aggies erupted for 13 against Vanderbilt (13-3) and 12 against Ole Miss (12-8).
AUSTIN HOMAN is hitting .600 (9-for-15) at the SEC Tournament with one double, one triple and seven RBI. MICHAEL BARASH and JONATHAN MORONEY are both batting .467 (7-for-15). Barash has five runs, two doubles and six RBI. Moroney has six runs, one double and four RBI.
