
Aggies Suffer Setback on Super Sunday to Bears

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 20 Texas A&M men's tennis team fell 4-0 to No. 14 Baylor Sunday afternoon at the Downtown Club at The Met in Houston, Texas. The Aggies fell to 1-3 on the season, while the Bears improved to 6-0 on the year.
Texas A&M dropped the doubles point to open the match as Jimmy Bendeck and Will Little bested Jordi Arconada and Max Lunkin followed by Juan Benitez and Constantin Frantzen topping Aleksandre Bakshi and AJ Catanzariti. The Bears were able to claim the win through singles victories from No. 44 Max Tchoutakian, Little and Frantzen over Catanzariti, Bakshi and Valentin Vacherot, respectively.
The Aggies look to get back into the win column next Sunday against Texas Tech at the George P Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station. The Raiders assistant coach is former Texas A&M team member Jordan Szabo, the Australian is in his first season in Lubbock.
