COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Aggies will be in search of a third consecutive win as well as a measure of revenge Tuesday when Texas A&M visits LSU for an 8 p.m. showdown inside the Maravich Center.
The contest will be televised on ESPNU with Rich Hollenberg calling the play-by-play action and Debbie Antonelli providing commentary. Additionally, radio coverage will be available on the Aggie Sports Network, which can be heard locally in the Bryan/College Station area on WTAW (1620 AM).
Led by junior center Tyler Davis, was named Co-SEC Player of the Week on Monday, the Aggies (13-6; 2-5 SEC) carded back-to-back home wins over Ole Miss and Missouri last week.
Davis produced consecutive double-doubles, giving him seven this season, but it was the Aggie defense that made an impact in Saturday's win over the Tigers. The Aggies gave up a season-low 49 points on just 15 made field goals while the Tigers shot a season-low 27.8 percent (15-54) from the floor. The 49 points was also a season-low for Mizzou offensively.
The Aggies, however, are still plagued by memories of their most recent meeting with the Bayou Bengals, who escaped College Station with a 69-68 victory over the Aggies after Tremont Waters sank an off-balance 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining in the contest. The LSU win left the all-time series in their favor at 19-18 and snapped a three-game Aggie winning streak vs. the Tigers.
LSU (11-7; 2-4 SEC) enters Tuesday's affair looking to reverse a trend of three straight losses, the most recent coming Saturday at Vanderbilt.

#DOMORE
It started as the theme of a motivational talk by strength & conditioning coach Darby Rich during summer workouts but "Do More" has become the de facto motto for the Aggie basketball team this season.Coming off a 16-15 campaign last season that fell short of repeating the success of an SEC Championship and a Sweet 16 showing the year prior, Texas A&M coaches & players have bought into the idea that all of them need to "Do More" this season. It's an all-encompassing philosophy that includes work in the weight room, practice habits, mental preparation, scouting and vocal leadership as the Aggies put in extra work & focus to achieve their lofty expectations this season.
