COLLEGE STATION -- The Texas A&M men's basketball team returns home after a week on the road to host South Alabama. The Aggies faced the most challenging portion of the schedule so far this season after taking on No. 3 Gonzaga, Minnesota and Washington on a six-day span away from home. A&M will look to get back in the win colum against the Jaguars, who are coming off a win over Southeast Missouri Monday night.
Texas A&M Quick Hits
• Jay Jay Chandler had a dominant night against Washington, leading the team with a career-best 21 points and eight rebounds.
• TJ Starks made it three straight games scoring in double figures as he added 17 points against the Huskies.
• Brandon Mahan led the Aggies with 17 points Sunday night, marking the first time he has reached double figures in the category in an A&M uniform.
• Savion Flagg currently leads the Aggies in scoring and rebounding. He neared his second double-double of the season with nine points and nine boards against Minnesota.

• Brown is a Huntsville, Ala., native in his senior year at Lee High School. Coached by his father, Greg Brown, the 6-7, 200-pound forward is the No. 79 overall player on ESPN's Top 100 list and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Alabama.
• Harris is in his fourth year at top-25 South Garland High School. The Garland, Texas native is a four-star recruit and ranked No. 90 overall by Rivals. Harris, a 6-3, 189-pound guard, averaged 19.1 points per game as a junior.
• Smith, a 6-9, 205-pound forward, helped his Trinity Christian School team to a state title game appearance as a junior, averaging 20.8 points and 12.9 rebounds. The Baton Rouge, La., native is a four-star recruit according to Rivals and 247sports, slated as the No. 91 overall prospect.
• Wheeler has been tabbed as the No. 75 player on ESPN's Top 100 and the No. 8 prospect in the state of Texas. The 5-9, 175-pound guard helped his Houston Christian High School team win the SPC state championship as a junior and was named to the NBPA Top 100 Camp All-Star team.
Chandler Notches Top Performance Against Washington
• Sophomore Jay Jay Chandler had a career night against Washington as he led the Aggies in scoring with 21 points and rebounding with eight.
• Chandler, who leads A&M in steals with 11 on the year, was aggressive on the defensive end the entire night, disrupting the Huskies' rhythm from start to finish.

• The Aggies are in their 21st season at Reed Arena. They boast a 249-85 (.746) all-time record in their current home venue. They were 41-41 in the first six years at Reed and are 208-44 (.825) since.
