Aug 09, 2018 | General
COLLEGE STATION, Texas— A total of 18 Texas A&M student-athletes are scheduled to earn degrees this summer semester as Commencement exercises are set to take place at Reed Arena on Friday, Aug. 10.
"Seeing student-athletes graduate is gratifying on so many levels, as it is one of three primary objectives we have at Texas A&M Athletics," said Scott Woodward, Director of Athletics. "In fact, it is the pinnacle of the three elements of our ultimate mission, along with providing an unmatched student-athlete experience and winning championships with integrity. All of us in the Department of Athletics are proud of these graduates, and we congratulate them, their families, and all who supported them on this journey."
A total of 138 Texas A&M student-athletes have graduated in the 2017-18 school year (Dec. 2017, May 2018, Aug. 2018).
