No. 2 Texas A&M Hosts No. 1 Auburn on Senior Day

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 2 Texas A&M Equestrian welcomes top-ranked Auburn to the Hildebrand Equine Complex Friday for an 11 a.m. meet. Following the conclusion of the meet, the Aggies will honor its 12 seniors.
The Maroon & White (8-3, 2-3 SEC) are coming off a dominant 13-6 victory over then-No. 3 South Carolina last Saturday in which the Aggies won in Equitation over Fences, Horsemanship and Reining and tied in Equitation on the Flat. Rebekah Chenelle (Flat), Ashley Davidson (Horsemanship) and Ashton Dunkel (Reining) earned Most Outstanding Player (MOP) honors against the Gamecocks.
For the season, Chenelle leads Texas A&M with 17 combined victories in the Hunter Seat with nine in Fences and eight in Flat. Caroline Dance has added six wins in Flat, while Rhian Murphy has tallied five. Dance and Haley Redifer have each recorded five victories in Fences.
The Aggies' Horsemanship squad holds a 9-1-1 ledger on the season and is led by Sarah Orsak, Alex Albright and Katie Conklin. Orsak tops the team with nine wins as Albright and Conklin have eight. Albright, the SEC February Rider of the Month, enters the meet on a five-meet win streak, while Conklin has won her last six points.
In Reining, Darby Gardner, Marissa Harrell and Kalee McCann lead the team with five victories.
