Texas A&M Faces Georgia at SEC Championship Friday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 2 Texas A&M Equestrian begins its quest for their first SEC Championship with a 9 a.m. meet against Georgia at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
The Aggies enter postseason play with a 9-4 record after ending the regular season with an 11-9 victory at No. 5 Baylor on March 9.
The Maroon & White is led by Rebekah Chenelle, who tops the Hunter Seat squad with 19 combined victories. Caroline Dance has added 13 as Haley Redifer has tallied seven wins in Equitation Over Fences.
In Horsemanship, the Aggies hold a 10-2-1 ledger on the season and are powered by Sarah Orsak, who dons an 11-1-1 record. Alex Albright has recorded nine wins as Katie Conklin and Ashley Davidson have tallied eight.
Kalee McCann holds a 7-3-1 record in Reining as Darby Gardner and Marissa Harrell have each added six victories.
The winner of Friday's contest faces the victor in the Auburn/South Carolina semifinal at 1 p.m. Saturday, while the loser plays in the consolation match at 9 a.m.
