
Aggies Drop 4-3 Decision at Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Texas A&M Softball fell to Missouri, 4-3, in the series opener Thursday at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
The Aggies (25-19, 3-13 SEC) took the lead in the fourth as Payton McBride blasted her fourth home run of the season to right. The Tigers immediately responded with three unanswered run with two in the fourth and one in the fifth.
The Maroon and White battled back to even the game as Kayla Garcia led off the sixth with a triple to left before Baylee Klingler hit a two-run shot to left, her fourth of the season.
Missouri (25-18, 8-8 SEC) regained the lead with a solo homer from Kolby Romaine.
Kendall Potts suffered the loss as the junior scattered eight hits and allowed four runs and two walks with four strikeouts to move to 10-9 on the season.
