WHAT THEY SAID
Head Coach Jo Evans
On the missed opportunities offensively…
"To me, I thought the difference in the game, and all weekend, was that Missouri did a great job with timely hitting. We had runners in scoring position and runners on base and couldn't get timely hitting. That is the name of the game."
On Kayla Garcia's performance…
"I think she is doing a great job. There are few games where she doesn't get on base. That is what you want. We moved her into the No. 2 hole, and she has found a way to get herself on base. She has managed that situation really well and was on base a bunch this weekend."
ON DECK
The Aggies begin their last homestand of the season with a doubleheader Wednesday against Incarnate Word. Game one is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start.
