
Taylor Clayton, Kylie Purifoy named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the Community Service Team for the sports of men's and women's track and field and cross country. Representing Texas A&M this season are Taylor Clayton and Kylie Purifoy.
The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his or her community through superior service efforts.
Clayton, a senior from Decatur, Texas, and Purifoy, a sophomore from Combine, Texas, were both members of the Aggie athletics group that visited Haiti for a week in December 2018 as part of Mission of Hope program. Clayton also assisted with Texas A&M's Hard Hats for Little Kids while Purifoy assisted with projects that included Habitat for Humanity, Aggies Build and Dance Marathon.
All-SEC designations from the SEC Championships included the following Aggies:
Men's First Team All-SEC: Bryce Deadmon, Devin Dixon, Robert Grant, Nathan Hite, Kyree Johnson, Infinite Tucker.
Men's Second Team All-SEC: Jacob Wooten.
Women's First Team All-SEC: Jazmine Fray.
Women's Second Team All-SEC: Tyra Gittens, Jarra Owens, Jaevin Reed, Syaira Richardson, Tierra Robinson-Jones, Danyel White.
