NCAA West Regional Men’s Quarterfinals Postponed, Set to Resume Saturday

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – A two-hour lightning delay, turned thunderstorm led to the postponement of the NCAA West Regional men's quarterfinals to Saturday, along with the remaining women's events.
Saturday's competition is set to begin with the men's 4x100m at 11:30 a.m., while the women's high jump is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Men's track events conclude with the start of the 4x400m at 3:15 p.m., excluding the 3000m steeplechase (4:10 p.m.) and 5000m (7:05 p.m.), which are slated for evening starts.
The women's track events, originally scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m., move to 3:30 p.m., with a projected start of the 4x400m at 8:35 p.m.
Spectators that purchased Friday tickets will be valid for Saturday as well, gates open at 10:30 a.m. Those unable to attend can follow the live stream beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT on the SEC Network+.
Prior to Friday's postponement, four Aggies saw action. Josh Brown placed 13th in the discus with a mark of 183-8 (55.99m), missing advancement to the NCAA Championships to Eugene, Oregon, by one placement.
High jumpers, Carter Bajoit and Jake Lamberth each cleared 6-11 (2.11m) to place 14th, while Mason Corbin cleared 6-9 (2.06m) to finish 36th overall.
