On his impressions from the match…
"It was a high-level college tennis match. It was a nailbiter that came down to the very end. We played some very impressive doubles, probably the best doubles that we've played all year. I give California the credit for bouncing back after the decisive doubles wins we had against them. It is just a tough way to finish the match. It was extremely unfortunate that the match had to end the way it did, but at the end of the day Cal came up in the big points when it was all said and done. It was two of the best teams in the nation that fought it out to the bitter end, and I know we will find a way to get stronger after this."
