
Battley Promoted to Director of Sports Science Service

Texas A&M Sports Science is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Battley from Sports Scientist to Director of Sports Science Service.
In his new role, Scott will lead day-to-day service to Olympic Sports teams and Performance & Wellness units. He will also oversee Sports Science's PhD Fellow staff and internship program, providing development opportunities for students from A&M and further afield.
Scott Battley was part of the very first staff of Sport Scientists at Texas A&M; serving as intern with the Football program in 2014-15. Following a year-long stint at the University of Tennessee, Scott returned to Aggieland in 2016 to serve the Football team before moving to Olympic Sports in 2018.
Battley has been integral to Sports Science's growth at Texas A&M, and we look forward to that continuing in his new role.
