Aggie Pros Claim Four Medals in Pair of Diamond League Events

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Former Texas A&M track & field standouts Shamier Little, Bryce Deadmon and Yasser Mohammed Tahar Triki all claimed medals in the two Diamond League events this week held in Monaco and London on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
Little highlighted the star-studded group, as she claimed a silver medal in Monaco and a bronze in London for the Red, White and Blue. Opening her week, Little ran a personal-best time of 49.68 in the women's 400m to ensure her silver medal. She followed up on Sunday with a third-place finish in the 400m hurdles, bringing it home in a time of 53.76.
Triki performed solely in the Monaco leg of the Diamond League, claiming a bronze medal in the men's triple jump. He leaped a season best 17.32m/56-10 to secure the third-place finish for Algeria.
Concluding the week in London was reigning United States national champion Deadmon in the men's 400m. He improved four positions from last week's Diamond League stop in Silesia, Poland, to earn the silver medal with a time of 44.40.
