
No. 11 Texas A&M Returns To The Road at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. – The No. 11 Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team returns to the road on Jan. 20 for a dual meet against SEC rival LSU. The meet will begin at 12 p.m. at the LSU Natatorium.
The Aggies are coming off back-to-back wins on the road at Houston and TCU and are seeking their ninth win of the season.
Miranda Grana recorded a handful of wins in multiple events, including two top finishes in the 100 back with times of 53.65 and 53.22 through the two meets.
Chloe Stepanek dominated in freestyle competition, with wins in the 50 (23.47) and 200 (1:49.41) against Houston, as well as in the 100 (50.32) and 200 (1:48.21) at TCU.
Olivia Theall notched a pair of top times in Houston, clocking a 1:58.54 in the 200 fly and a 50.69 in the 100 free.
Joslyn Oakley swept the springboards at both meets last week, earning SEC Women's Diver of the Week. Against Houston, Oakley scored 306.90 on the 1-meter and a 357.98 on the 3-meter. Oakley recorded career best scores on both springboards in the win against TCU with a 337.15 on the 1-meter and a 395.80 on the 1-meter.
LSU is searching for its first dual meet victory of the season and placed third out of seven teams in the Art Adamson Invitational in November.
