No. 15 Women’s Golf Heads to the Bahamas For White Sands Invitational

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The No. 15 Texas A&M Women's golf team continues its 2024-25 campaign at the White Sands Invitational Oct. 18-20 on the Ocean Club Golf Course at Atlantis and are led by our fourth-year head coach Gerrod Chadwell and sophomore Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio.
The Lineup
Fernández García-Poggio is the No. 33 ranked player on the World Amateur Golf Ranking and No. 17 on Scoreboard's first individual rankings of the year. She is joined by Sky Sudberry is coming off the first top-five finish of her career where she tied for fifth at the Bearkat Invitational. Kynadie Adams, Lauren Nguyen and Vanessa Borovilos round out the five-player lineup going to the Bahamas and Lana Calibuso-Kwee will compete as an individual.
How to Keep Up
Texas A&M begins play with 18 holes on Friday at 7 a.m. Live stats for the tournament can be followed here. The Aggies will be without reigning NCAA Individual National Champion Adela Cernousek who will be competing at the Qualifying Stage of LPGA Q-Series Oct. 20-25.
