Head Coach Joni Taylor
On the team's offensive surge...
"We had six score in double figures last game and almost got it again today. I think that speaks to us sharing the basketball. We spent a lot of time last week getting healthy and finally putting pieces together on the floor and playing. You can just tell that there was better flow and better continuity. We spent some of that time getting ourselves into better shape and that's a reflection of more points, too."
On Jada Malone's impact...
"She is so good at getting to her spot. Her timing is really good, and she is so strong once she seals and posts, it's hard to move her and get around her. She's got excellent hands, soft touch and knows when to score and when to pass it. When you have that combination, you want to feed her the ball because she is going to make the right decision."
Redshirt Junior Jada Malone
On the team's physicality leading into conference play...
"I don't know how it looked on TV, but it was very physical out there. That is probably the closest to an SEC game that we have played all season so far. This being our last game before going into SEC play is really important. It helped us focus on offensive rebounds and getting those second chance opportunities."
Graduate Amirah Abdur-Rahim
On her double-double performance...
"Over the past couple of games and practices, my teammates and coaches have been instilling more confidence in me. Today I just went out there saying 'I'm just going to do everything I can to help my team win and be the best that we can be', and I think I just attacked it with confidence."
