No. 2 Texas A&M Falls on the Road to No. 6 Auburn

AUBURN- The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team dropped its final meet of the regular season to No. 6 Auburn, 13-5, Saturday evening at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.
The Aggies opened the meet with a split in Reining, 2-2. Gracie Casebolt earned a 70.75 on Duke to pick up the Maroon & White's first point and Keesa Luers added to the total with a 65.25 on Pink. Mattie Gustin matched her opponent for the highest score in Reining with a 71.
In Flat, Maggie Nealon improved her record to 6-2-3, defeating her opponent 86.5-83. Despite a narrow 76.5-76 win for Brooke Brombach, Texas A&M fell in Flat, 3-2, and trailed 5-4 at the break.
In the second half of the meet, the Aggies dropped Fences 4-1 and failed to score a point in Horsemanship. Freshman Kate Egan registered the lone point in the second half, claiming her third Most Outstanding Performer honor of the year and improving to 7-4.
