
No. 12 Men’s Tennis Hosts No. 1 Ohio State to Headline Wednesday Doubleheader

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 12 Texas A&M men's tennis team hosts UTRGV and No. 1 Ohio State Wednesday, March 13 at the Mitchell Tennis Center with first serves set for 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
"This is another great opportunity to get playing time for our entire team," head coach Steve Denton said. "Our guys are excited about the opportunity and ready to compete."
The Aggies (13-3, 3-1 SEC) are coming off a doubleheader sweep against Ole Miss and Lamar. The Maroon & White defeated the Rebels, 5-2, to extend their conference play win streak to three. Texas A&M turned right around and dominated the Cardinals, 7-0, to secure the sweep.
A&M won the last match against UTRGV, 6-1, in Aggieland during the 2021-22 campaign. The Aggies are 7-0 in the all-time series against the Vaqueros and are set for first serve at noon. UTRGV is 7-11 on the season with its last win coming against Morgan State.
The Maroon & White are seeking to get a win against No. 1 Ohio State (16-1) after falling to the Buckeyes, 7-0, during the 2022-23 season. Ohio State is coming off a loss to No. 12 Texas, 5-2. The Maroon & White will take on OSU at 6 p.m. to close out the doubleheader.
