No. 11 Men’s Tennis Continues SEC Road Trip to Alabama
Apr 13, 2024 | Men's Tennis
TUSCALOOSA – The No. 11 Texas A&M men's tennis team looks to wrap up the regular season at No. 22 Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday, April 14, at the Alabama Tennis Stadium with first serve set for 1 p.m.
"We have another tough match with Alabama tomorrow," head coach Steve Denton said. "They are good from top to bottom so we will need to be very sharp and get off to a fast start in our final regular season match. This is the special time of the season where championship tennis is required."
The Aggies (18-8, 7-4 SEC) are hoping to bounce back after falling to Auburn, 5-2, on the road Friday. The Maroon & White are led by two-time SEC Player of the Week JC Roddick, who has 24 wins on the season, and Raphael Perot, who has seven ranked victories this year.
The Maroon & White are 18-0 in the all-time series against Alabama (16-11, 5-6 SEC) with the last win coming during the 2023 league slate in Aggieland. The Crimson Tide are coming off a win against Ole Miss.
