BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M swimming & diving program unveiled its upcoming schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Aggies look to improve on successful campaigns with both the men's and women's squads finishing in the top-20 nationally a season ago.
Director of swimming & diving Blaire Anderson and the Aggies will embark on a new era as the team kicks off the season Oct. 11-12 at the SMU Classic in Dallas before the team competes at home for the first time Oct. 18-19, welcoming TCU and BYU for a tri-meet. On Oct. 24, the women's squad will host Houston for a dual meet.
The Maroon & White start the month of November in Columbia facing Missouri on Nov. 1 at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. The Aggie divers will then head to Austin Nov. 15-17 to participate in the Texas Diving Invite.
Texas A&M returns home to host its annual Art Adamson Invite Nov. 20-22 at the Rec Center Natatorium to close the fall portion of the season.
The Aggies will start the new year at home, hosting conference foes Florida (1/17) and LSU (1/18). Dual meet season comes to a close on Jan. 31 when the team hits the road to Austin for a matchup with Texas.
The SEC Championships will run Feb. 18-22 in Athens, Georgia. Texas A&M looks to build off steady success last year where the team tallied 18 medals, collectively. Joslyn Oakley returns to the springboards after claiming gold on the 1-meter last season. Baylor Nelson aims to defend his IM title for the third straight year, looking to earn his third consecutive Commissioner's Trophy.
The Aggies will host a pair of Last Chance meets prior to NCAAs, with the first running Feb. 27-March 1, and the second March 5-7.
The divers will travel to Iowa City, Iowa, for NCAA Zone D Diving Championships running March 10-12 for their lone chance to punch their tickets to NCAAs. Last season the team sent six divers to NCAAs, including three All-Americans.
NCAA Championships will be held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington. The women's events will be held first and run from March 19-22, and the men will compete March 26-29. A total of 20 Aggies were honored as All-Americans last season at NCAAs.
