OXFORD – The No. 9 Texas A&M Volleyball team closes its road stint at Ole Miss Sunday afternoon at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center with first serve set for 2 p.m.
The Aggies extended their winning streak to four after downing LSU in four sets in Baton Rouge. The Tigers took the opening frame, but Texas A&M answered the call through a balance team effort on offense and defense to secure the win.
Ifenna Cos-Okpalla proved to be a continued force at the net, as the middle stuffed seven of the teams 11 swings. She was also a threat at the service line, recording four aces on the night, her second highest total in her career.
Offensively, Logan Lednicky carried the load for the Maroon & White ripping off 14 kills which marked her ninth-straight game with double digits to start league play. Morgan Perkins had an efficient outing, recording seven kills on only 10 swings with zero errors for a staggering .700 hitting percentage.
